The singer was accused of flaunting her wealth in the video for her new song Feeling Myself
Beyonce caused a bit of a stir when she dropped the new video for her song Feeling Myself.
And it wasn’t just because it was released on Tidal, her hubby Jay Z’s music streaming service.
Queen Bey caused a bit of bother with fans in a scene where she appeared to pour a bottle of champagne worth $20,000 straight into a hot tub.
One fan asked: “Why would you dump a 20 thousand dollar bottle of champagne into a pool Beyonce. I with (sic) I was that rich.”
Another pointed out: “My tuition is more than Beyonce champagne bottle.”
The scene sees a Beyonce sat in the tub in a skimpy swimsuit, pulling a face as she chucks the contents of the bottle into the water.
The bottle doesn’t seem to be just a normal bottle of champers, with some fans pointing out it was Armand de Brignac, also known as Ace of Spades. Bottle of the stuff can fetch thousands of dollars but it’s unknown how much Bey’s bottle is worth. Her hubby, rapper Jay Z, owns the brand.
One fan wrote on Twitter: “Beyonce out here wasting $20,000 champagne and I’m here tryna survive the week with 20 cash smh.”
