Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry is one of the best scorers in NBA history.

With his 277th career 30-point game on Thursday night vs. the Denver Nuggets, Curry overtook Alex English for the 18th most 30-point games in NBA history.

When including the playoffs, Curry is 15th all-time in 30-point games with 335. Curry has averaged at least 30 PPG twice in his career, which led the NBA both times. While Curry is of course the greatest shooter of all-time, people often do not discuss his scoring ability as well. Incredibly talented around the basket and in the mid-range, Curry can score from anywhere on the floor.

Despite the 30-point game from Curry, this is one he will want to forget, as his miscues down the stretch were a big reason why the Nuggets were able to overcome an 18-point deficit to steal a win on the road. Struggling to create a clean look in the fourth quarter, Curry also had a costly turnover at the end that helped Denver steal this one.

While Curry climbed up a historic list on Thursday night, the story of this game will be about another major collapse by the Warriors, capped off by Nikola Jokic’s game winner. Curry played a big part in that collapse, struggling to score down the stretch, missing some key shots and also throwing the ball away.
