Roman Reigns to bring back 6’1’’ Anoa’i family member upon his WWE return

Roman Reigns’ problems seem to increase with every passing day. Last week on WWE SmackDown, Jacob Fatu joined The Bloodline and destroyed Randy Orton, Kevin Owens and Cody Rhodes. The stronghold of Solo gets even stronger on the blue brand.

Roman Reigns’s situation looks way beyond what he can handle alone. He will now need support and could look to bring in another family member in Lance Anoa’i.

Sikoa has already taken the majority of his family members onto his side. There aren’t many options remaining for The Tribal Chief. Fans could see him re-unite with Jimmy and Jey Uso, but even then would still fall short of the numbers game by one.

This is where he could bring Lance Anoa’i to his side. Lance could be the equalizer for Roman Reigns’ side going into a civil war with the Solo Sikoa led Bloodline. The Samoan wrestler could mark his presence with Roman Reigns either at SummerSlam or maybe around Survivor Series later this year. According to online rumors, the two aforementioned premium live events are the ones fans may get to see Roman return.

Anoa’i is a young superstar but is experienced in the business. He started wrestling in 2010 and is active to date. Lance was even a WWE Superstar at one point. He had his tryouts with WWE between 2015 and 2019. Unfortunately, he could not make the cut.

Is Roman Reigns really not coming back to the WWE?

For weeks now, Paul Heyman has been by Solo Sikoa’s side, trying to guide him on leading The Bloodline. He keeps reminding him on the rules set by Reigns, which Sikoa doesn’t seem to care much of.

This past week on the blue brand, Solo Sikoa had a brief run-in with CM Punk. Later in the show, Heyman told Solo, that Reigns had a rule of not going after CM Punk due to The Wiseman’s relationship with him.

That’s when Sikoa stopped Heyman and said:

“Roman Reigns, he’s not coming back. I’m sorry.”

Those words sent Heyman into shock. However, the Hall of Famer continued with his work and joined his new Tribal Chief ringside for his main event match against Cody Rhodes.

As of now, there are no hints of The Tribal Chief returning. Reigns hasn’t been seen on WWE TV since WrestleMania 40. The modern-day GOAT is not very active on social media either, which makes disappearance even more mysterious.

He is rumored to return at WWE SummerSlam and have a match with Solo Sikoa. However, SummerSlam is around two months away and the buildup time will be very short for a story between them. Reigns’ return doesn’t seem likely to happen anytime soon.
