And Margot Robbie certainly dressed the part as she stepped out in a glamourous black frock in New York on Thursday.

The 26-year-old displayed her slim legs in a stylish ensemble that finished well above the knees while promoting her new film Suicide Squad.

The Wolf Of Wall Street star appeared to be in happy spirits as she represented the cast of the DC Comics blockbuster.

Margot, who hails from Queensland, looked stunning in her LBD featuring a halterneck design and flared cuffs.

She finished off her chic look with a pair of ankle strap heels and wore her signature blonde hair straight and loosely.

This comes days after Margot was named as a potential front runner to play the female lead in the new James Bond film.

Online polls have placed her at the strongest odds to fill the role, sitting at 12/1. Meanwhile Emily Blunt sits at 16/1, according to Paddy Power.

Others sitting at promising odds include US model Emily Ratajkowski at 22/1, with Harry Potter star Emma Watson further down the line at 40/1.
