‘The perfect superhero’: Scarlett Johansson looked sensational in a figure-hugging black dress while filming scenes for the upcoming Captain America movie.

She has just been revealed as the ‘most physically perfect woman’, according to Ancient Greek ratios of what defines such a coveted title.

And Scarlett Johansson was exhibiting this ‘Golden Ratio’ coup as she got to work filming scenes for Captain America: Civil War in Atlanta, Georgia on Wednesday.

The 30-year-old beauty wasn’t dressed in her famous Black Widow all-in-one leather catsuit for the scene, but she still managed to flaunt her famous figure in a sleeveless curve-hugging black dress.

She looked trim and toned while on the set, following the birth of her daughter Rose Dorothy with husband Romain Dauriac in September, and has no doubt been hitting the gym hard in preparation for her all-action, high-octane role.

Scarlett has previously revealed that she does a lot of her own stunts while in the role, and over the years has built up her tough training while honing her figure with a combination of fighting training, Wushu (a Chinese sport), and rigorous interval drills.

The usually-blonde star wore a long, curly-haired wig in the deep red shade for her character, covering up her current peroxide pixie crop.

In-between takes, the petite Hollywood beauty kept herself comfortable in a pair of flat slide-on shoes, but she was later seen emerging in towering heels, as well as being covered in a classic black trench coat.

Wigged up: The usually-peroxide blonde beauty – who is currently sporting a chic pixie crop – donned a long, curly deep red wig to get into character as Black Widow/Natasha Romanoff

Taking a break: The 30-year-old beauty donned a pair of flat slider shoes in-between takes, while chatting away to her handsome co-star and the film’s leading man Chris Evans

Glad to be back? The actress looked content to be back with her co-star on the set of the third Captain America sequel

Chris Evans – Captain America himself – was also present for the scene, which put to bed rumours that they were filming the protagonist’s funeral.

However, a funeral was certainly being filmed earlier this week, leaving fans of the Marvel franchise wondering whose death was being mourned.

It was recently reported by Just Jared that the third film in the Captain America series picks up where Avengers: Age of Ultron – which was released in April – left off, as Steve Rogers leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to protect the human race.

A ratio to behold: Scarlett has been named as the ‘most physically perfect woman’ according to her measurements, something many a Marvel fan would agree with

Back to work: After promoting The Avengers: Age of Ultron earlier this year, and looking after her baby daughter Rose Dorothy, Scarlett is already busy reprising her role as the all-action superhero

All change! Scarlett has recently been rocking a cropped bright blonde ‘do (left – seen in April), but on Wednesday was back to her Black Widow best under the deep red long, curly wig

With their last heroic efforts once again causing collateral damage, there is soon political pressure to install a system of accountability and create a governing body to decide when the world should enlist the services of the super team.

The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new villain.

Fans were delighted that the film will prove to be an Avengers reunion of sorts after the full cast was finally revealed.

Chris, of course, returns as iconic Super Hero character Steve Rogers/Captain America along with Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man.

Covered-up: The actress was also seen later on in heels while having covered up in a black trench coat as filming commenced
