Lizzo Flaunts Her Edgy 2024 Super Bowl Ensemble with a Fiery Red Mullet and Fishnet Stockings

Lizzo made care to wear an outfit that honored the two football clubs competing for the Super Bowl in 2024.

The 35-year-old singer of “Truth Hurts” was one of many famous people who traveled to Las Vegas on February 11 to witness the Kansas City Chiefs play the San Francisco 49ers. As a result, the arena was completely filled with red, the color of both teams.

On Sunday, attire at Allegiant Stadium varied from sultry to athletic, with Lizzo putting her own spin on the dress code with a striking ensemble drenched in the season’s hottest color.

The Grammy winner looked amazing in a leather trench coat that seemed to have been painted with various blue paint tones, as evidenced by her Instagram postings.

She wore a white blouse and fishnet stockings below a pair of micro leather shorts, keeping her layering simple but bold. She added numerous silver necklaces to further amp up the glitter.

Lizzo’s red mullet, which features lengthy layers in the back and shaggy bangs, added even more flaming flair to her appearance. Though the artist frequently changes up her appearance, it’s possible that her hairstyle is a wig.

Lizzo didn’t confirm which team she was rooting for exactly, but it seemed like she was really there to cheer on halftime performer Usher because she called the Super Bowl the “Usher concert” on Instagram.

She even shared a few selfies from her suite, including one with Apple CEO Tim Cook (a duo we definitely didn’t expect to see!).

Lizzo’s appearance at the game comes amid her legal battle from an Aug. 1, 2023, lawsuit in which her former backup dancers, Arianna Davis, Crystal Williams and Noelle Rodriguez, alleged they were abused, harassed, discriminated against and faced numerous workplace violations while working for the musician (real name Melissa Jefferson) and her Big Grrrl Big Touring Inc.

Recently, Lizzo attempted to have the 𝑠e𝑥ual harassment lawsuit against her dismissed, which was then denied. Earlier this month, a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge ruled that the case will go forward, PEOPLE confirmed.

In September, her attorneys filed a motion to dismiss another harassment and discrimination lawsuit made by a former “disgruntled” employee and clothing designer of the singer’s tour.

Still, Lizzo has made several public appearances, including one at the 2024 Grammys where she presented SZA with best R&B song award for “Snooze.”

Lizzo, a four-time Grammy winner herself, wore a custom leather Luis de Javier gown with a thigh-high slit, Jimmy Choo stilettos and bespoke jewelry, including layer upon layer of bangles and statement earrings.
