Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson: Date, UK start time, undercard and how to follow as YouTuber battles heavyweight legend

Jake Paul will face off against heavyweight legend Mike Tyson later this summer with the shock exhibition bout now confirmed.

‘The Problem Child’ announced the clash with the 57-year-old out of nowhere, with no leaks or rumours before the fight was set.

Paul beat Ryan Bourland with a first-round stoppage in March and has now jumped straight into this encounter.

Paul started his boxing career on the undercard of Tyson’s exhibition clash with Roy Jones Jr in 2020, and they will now face each other.

Tyson was once one of the most destructive heavyweights to enter the ring and demolished most of his opponents.

However, ‘Iron Mike’ hasn’t been in the ring for four years and fans have voiced their concerns over this bout.

Paul vs Tyson: What has been said?

Paul announced the fight on X, formerly known as Twitter.

He said: “It’s crazy to think that in my second pro fight, I went viral for knocking out Nate Robinson on Mike Tyson’s undercard.

“Now, less than four years later, I’m stepping up to face Tyson myself to see if I have what it takes to beat one of boxing’s most notorious fighters and biggest icons.

“Within just two and a half years of founding MVP, we’re about to produce the biggest fight in history, a fight in the biggest NFL stadium in the US, broadcast live, on the biggest streaming platform in the world – a testament to all we’ve accomplished in such a short amount of time.

“Whether you’re tuning in on Netflix or showing out in person, whether you’re team Paul or team Tyson, or whether you’re a lifelong boxing fan or watching your first fight, you’re not going to want to miss this event.”
