‘A freak show’ – Jake Paul accused of using ‘hand signal’ to fix fights by UFC star as he prepares to face Mike Tyson

Jake Paul is preparing to face Mike Tyson, but not without fresh controversy.

Paul has been accused of ‘fixing’ his fights including his KO win over Tyron Woodley in December 2021, with the campaign led by UFC star Paddy Pimblett.

He has strongly denied the allegations, explaining how it would be impossible given the fights are sanctioned by licensed governing bodies.

Paul is preparing to face heavyweight legend Tyson on July 20, and UFC star Colby Covington has claimed there are clear signs that he could ‘rig’ the bout.

He said during an appearance on SOScast: “I don’t like the fight with Tyson, I think Jake’s probably going to knock him out in the first two minutes.

“All of Jake Paul’s accomplishments have been rigged. They have set up the deck against him from the start.

“He fought the shortest guy in NBA to start his career, Nate Robinson, he had like a 70lb weight advantage.

“You think you are tough because of that? You are not tough, you are just a bully.

“The second fight, there is a hand signal and Woodley puts his hand out then he knocks him out. It is a freak show.

“Everyone of Jake Paul’s fights are rigged, even [with] Nate Diaz it was the same thing, he just wanted to take a dive for money.”

Paul and Tyson will meet in a comple mismatch this summer

Covington went on to suggest he would be open to a boxing fight with Paul, but is not hopeful the ‘Problem Child’ would accept any offer.

Paul has regularly had to battle allegations throughout his career, but has offered regular proof that his dust-ups are authentic, including offering up his contracts.

Fans are hesitant over Paul’s latest blockbuster clash with Tyson, as it could take place under professional rules despite their 31-year age gap.

Footage of Tyson has emerged using a walking stick, and there have been serious medical concerns voiced over Iron Mike’s health.

The 57-year-old has documented his training, posting videos of him crashing the pads, in an attempt to intimidate his opponent and allay health fears.

Tony Bellew even suggested he was hopeful that the contest was indeed scripted to avoid serious harm to Tyson on the night.
