Sean Strickland follows in Conor McGregor’s footsteps by clashing with Machine Gun Kelly at Power Slap event

Former UFC champion Sean Strickland has been busy this week.

Over the past few days, MMA’s most divisive star has stared down Donald Trump, beat up one of the world’s most famous streamers, and been offered $1 million to spar Jake Paul.

On Friday night, he took things to the next level at a star-studded Power Slap event at Durango Casino & Resort in Las Vegas.

Footage shared on social media shows Strickland clashing with music star Machine Gun Kelly. It’s currently unclear what prompted the hostile interaction, but it thankfully didn’t get physical.

The ex-middleweight king can be heard calling MGK ‘weird’ and insulting his clothes. As he walked away, Strickland turned back and said, ‘I’m easy to find, vampire man.’

Soon after the incident, Strickland took to social media to troll the rapper and express his surprise after learning MGK is romantically linked to a famous actress.

“I almost hit a vampire tonight… lol!” he tweeted.

“They said his name is Machine Gun Kelly. How do you have a dope ass name and dress like a 13 goth South Park character?!?

“You guys what the f*** is going on……….

“Transformers Megan Fox is with that thing….. what the actual f*** has happened to the world?! What did I miss? Is she OK? Is this man the devil? Megan Fox are you ok? Do you need assistance?!”

Strickland previously upset Dana White by starting a brawl at UFC 296, but because it was with his next opponent, the UFC boss took the blame for that incident.

However, he was left dumbfounded by Strickland’s behaviour at his latest Power Slap event.

“You can’t bring Sean Strickland around any other human beings,” White said after the show. “You know what I mean? It has nothing to do with Machine Gun Kelly. It’s about humans.”

Strickland is not the first UFC star MGK has rubbed up the wrong way.

Conor McGregor infamously tried to attack the 33-year-old, whom he threw a drink at, on the MTV Video Music Awards red carpet in September 2021.

Almost three years later, what started their feud remains a mystery, but the MMA legend continues to take sporadic shots at MGK during his ‘tweet and delete’ sprees.
