Unbeaten Irish top contender Lewis Crocker emulates Conor McGregor ‘Billionaire Strut’ celebration after stunning KO puts Jose Felix through the ropes

Lewis Crocker picked up a statement victory as he knocked out Jose Felix to move to 19-0 on Saturday night.

The Belfast home favourite finished his Mexican opponent in round five and celebrated by pulling out one of Conor McGregor’s most famous moves.

There was drama prior to the fight itself as Crocker came in overweight on Friday.

The welterweight contender missed the 147lbs limit and instead scaled 150lbs, whereas Felix was 146½lbs having moved up from lightweight for the bout.

When the contest itself got underway, the size difference was evident.

Although the Mexican put up a typically valiant effort early on, he was ultimately beaten up.

In round four, Crocker floored Felix with a body shot and the writing was on the wall.

In the very next session, Crocker smashed Felix with a huge left hook which sent him crashing through the ropes.

Remarkably, Felix still attempted to rise to his feet and continue fighting, but the referee wisely denied him the opportunity and waved it off.

The Mexican protested, but Crocker celebrated wildly.

He even emulated McGregor by performing a ‘Billionaire Strut’ around the ring after his win.

This is a celebration the Irish star has used several times after famous UFC victories in the past.

Crocker, 27, is now 19-0 (11 KOs) as a welterweight contender and looking to close in on world titles as he hits his prime years.
