Danny Ramirez, a rookie to The Last of Us season 2, is excited about the upcoming episodes after seeing a preview. Based on the popular Naughty Dog video game series, Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann created the post-apocalyptic HBO drama, which debuted in 2023 to overwhelmingly positive reviews and high viewership. Pedro Pascal’s Joel and Bella Ramsey’s Ellie will continue the plot in The Last of Us season 2, which will also feature a few new characters, such as Kaitlyn Dever as Abby, Isabela Merced as Dina, Young Mazino as Jesse, and Ramirez as a soldier named Manny.
Ramirez now tells Empire magazine that he’s seen some The Last of Us season 2 footage during an ADR (automatic dialogue replacement) session. While the actor doesn’t reveal much of what’s to come or how exactly Manny will fit into the story, he does promise that the new episodes will have a profound effect on audiences.
