CM Punk and Kevin Owens exchange words before Royal Rumble

However, CM PUNK appears. CM Punk does nothing but stand in the ring to receive the ovation of the public. The Chicago native comes out to apologize to KO for the confrontation he had with Cody Rhodes last Monday, because he assumed that he will retain the title tomorrow without taking the Canadian into account. Even so, CM Punk reiterates that he will be the winner of the 2025 Royal Rumble Match, and if Owens beats Cody, then he will challenge him to face him at WrestleMania 41, and he will apologize for ending his reign too soon.

Owens doesn’t like CM Punk, but he likes to imagine kicking his ass at WrestleMania. Kevin talks about CM Punk’s dream of main eventing the big event, and now that he has it at his fingertips, there’s nothing better than thinking that he’ll never get to fulfill that dream. KO feels good thinking about Punk, all alone, while remembering that he’s a multiple WrestleMania main eventer, something the Chicago native will never be able to achieve in his miserable life. Kevin Owens hopes CM Punk does NOT win the Royal Rumble Match.

CM Punk acknowledges that KO has a great career, but at least he doesn’t have five title losses at the Royal Rumble and he’s never lost to Logan Paul. Punk hasn’t tried to manipulate his best friend into helping him win a title either; win, lose or draw, he does everything on his own, while KO always takes shortcuts. Tomorrow, the planets must align for them to face each other at WrestleMania; Punk must overcome 29 Superstars, while KO must overcome a furious Cody Rhodes in a ladder match. “It may never be a WrestleMania event, but I’m going to kick your ass here, so get back in the ring ,” CM Punk says. Kevin Owens makes a move to enter the ring, but ends up walking out.
