Jennifer Lawrence and her husband Cooke Maroney see the neo-noir action film Oldboy in New York City on a date night

Jennifer Lawrence enjoyed a date night with her husband Cooke Maroney on Wednesday in New York City.

Jennifer, 33, and Cooke, 39, dropped by a local theater to a screening of the South Korean neo – noir action thriller film, Oldboy.

The Hunger Games actress – who was spotted running errands earlier in the day – looked chic in a beige coord that consisted of a loose button-up and a midi skirt.

She left the top open and layered it over a plunging black bodysuit.

Jennifer was makeup-free and her long blonde hair fell down her chest in loose waves.

Meanwhile, Cooke smoldered in a white T-shirt styled with a black over shirt, skinny jeans and Vans sneakers.

They were photographed exiting the theater after wrapping up the movie screening.

The couple were first seen grabbing an early dinner in the city, which they arrived to in a black chauffeured SUV.

Jennifer climbed out of the backseat of the vehicle with black designer sunglasses on and her husband standing right beside her.

They were accompanied by two bodyguards, who swiftly escorted them from place to place.

The couple had a whirlwind romance as they wed in October 2019 after 18 months of dating.

They welcomed their first child, a son named Cy, in February 2022.

Jennifer rode solo while knocking items off her to-do list in the morning on Wednesday near their lavish New York abode.

The Winter’s Bone star sported her same black bodysuit but opted for a blue button-up and navy blue trousers. She completed the effortless look with a pair of black kitten heels.

One month ago, Jennifer celebrated the theatrical release of her latest film — an R-rated raunchy comedy, No Hard Feelings, premiered in theaters on June 23.

In just the first two weeks of the global release, No Hard Feelings successfully reached the $50 million mark worldwide and popular praise, according to Collider.

The flick is expected to become the highest-grossing original R-rated studio comedy since the 2019 film Good Boys — which was also directed by Gene Stupnitsky.

It was reported last month that No Hard Feelings grossed $31 million in the United States and $20 million overseas. In comparison, Good Boys garnered $83 million domestically and $111 million worldwide.

In the film, Lawrence plays a bartender — who drives Ubers part-time to make money — desperate to make money in order to not lose her late mother’s home that she grew up in.

After her car is towed, she responds to a Craigslist ad from helicopter parents offering a car in exchange for a nice girl to date their 19-year-old son before he heads off to college.

However, their prudish and proper son – played by Andrew Barth Feldman – proves to be more of a challenge than she expected and she is slowly running out of time.

On June 20, an article was published by Interview Magazine – in which she recalled her time filming the flick.

While speaking to Cameron Diaz, Lawrence said her time on the set of No Hard Feelings, and a comedy film in general, ‘was a blast’.

‘I’ve always wanted to do comedy, and I’ve been asked a million times,’ she said.

‘I was never against it, but you’ve seen the movies that come out,’ she explained. ‘I don’t want to name anything specifically, but there hasn’t been anything that funny.’

She also added: ‘I felt a unique sadness when wrapping this one, because it’s so nice when you feel so confident while filming a movie.’
