‘Total domination’ – Tyson Fury sparring partner predicts one-sided win over Oleksandr Usyk after tough session while fasting for Ramadan

Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk will be a walk in the park for the Gypsy King, if his friend and sparring partner Ty Mitchell is to be believed.

The undisputed heavyweight world title fight is set to take place on May 18 in Saudi Arabia.

Fury and Mitchell sparred together on Monday

Camps for both men are therefore well underway.

The pair initially came ever so close to completing their training for the fight when it was initially scheduled back in February, only for Fury to suffer a cut in one of his last sparring sessions.

They are both now back in camp preparing for the rescheduled date next month.

On Monday, Fury’s long-time friend and sparring partner Mitchell took to social media to give an update from inside Gypsy King HQ.

Sparring the WBC heavyweight world champion is obviously challenging for any boxer.

However, for Mitchell it’s currently even tougher as he is fasting for Ramadan.

He posted: “Sparring the number one heavyweight on the planet whilst fasting? Yeah completed it mate.

“Total domination May 18th in Saudi! Inn shaa Allah!!”
