The cozy L.A. bungalow owned by Ronda Rousey is up for auction for $1.8 million.

Ronda Rousey has chosen to give up ownership of her long-term Los Angeles residence in addition to seemingly calling it quits on her prosperous athletic career. Records indicate that the former WWE and UFC star, who currently owns two ranch properties in California and Oregon together called Browsey Acres, where she raises Wagyu beef and pasture-raised chicken with her former UFC competitor husband Travis Browne, has placed a nearly $1.9 million price tag on a quaint home tucked away in the Venice Beach neighborhood, just a block away from the boardwalk. Christina Thomas of Goat & Dime is the owner of the listing.

Documents reveal that Rousey purchased the two-bedroom, one-bath cottage in May 2014 for $1.4 million, just over ten years ago. The space-savvy home, which was originally constructed in the early 1900s and has subsequently undergone renovations, is over 870 square feet and includes wide-plank hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings, built-ins, and “unexpected” lofts throughout.

The clapboard-sided structure is fronted by a set of steps that leads up to a bright red entry door. From there, the main light-filled living area is adorned with a black fireplace stretching to the ceiling and a ladder that heads to a lounging loft lined with built-in bookshelves. There’s also a dining nook, as well as a galley-style kitchen sporting quartz countertops, a subway tile backsplash, a breakfast bar, and stainless appliances.

One of the two bedrooms has a bay window offering views of an adjacent park and the other includes ample closets and a sleeping loft, with both accessible to a turquoise glass-tiled bath equipped with a combination tub and shower. Elsewhere is a multi-level outdoor space featuring a seating area, a built-in barbecue, a hot tub, and a shower, along with an attached one-car garage that could easily be transformed into an office or a gym.

Rousey, 37, first gained notoriety as a bronze medalist in judo at the 2008 Summer Olympics in China and went on to join the mixed martial arts league, where she became the first UFC women’s bantamweight champion and was named to the UFC Hall of Fame. She later transitioned into pro wrestling and then stepped away from the ring indefinitely in 2023. Also a film and TV actress, she’s appeared in The Expendables 3Furious 7Mile 22Entourage, and 9-1-1. Most recently, she released her first graphic novel, Expect the Unexpected, about a deadly hit woman who has a fake baby bump filled with guns and goes by the code name “Mom.”
