Bron Breaker vs Sami Zayn

The champion quickly attacks his opponent in the corner. Sami Zayn defends himself by delivering a series of blows until he manages to get his opponent out of the ring; this allows him to attack Bron Breakker with a «Tope con Hilo». The fight has just begun. Back in the ring, Bron has the upper hand. Zayn shows signs of life, but Breakker intercepts him in the air to knock him down with a «Powerslam»; he counts to two. Sami avoids Bron’s next attack and ends up knocking him down with a «Tornado DDT»; the cover does not progress.

Zayn looks to win the first fall, but Breakker stops him and intercepts him again in the air to attack with a “German Suplex.” Bron punishes Sami against the corner a couple of times, but Zayn ends up surprising him with a “Helluva Kick.” Sami Zayn scores the first fall against Bron Breakker; 0-1! The Canadian doesn’t waste time and catches up with his rival at ringside. Breakker intercepts Zayn when he launches himself with a “Moonsault” and runs to the other end of ringside to send Sami flying into a chair behind the barricade! What a match on WWE RAW ( August 12, 2024 ).

Back in the ring, Bron Breakker knocks Zayn off the top of the corner with a Hurracarrana followed by a Powerslam. As soon as he gets back to his feet, Bron splits Sami in half with a Spear. The champion doesn’t count and connects a second Spear on Zayn to tie the match; 1-1. The third fall is decisive. Bron wants to win another point thinking that the punishment he gave Sami was enough, but the Canadian reacts with a Crucifix Pin that stays at two. Breakker takes the action to ringside and breaks the referee’s count. Bron’s Flying Lariat on Sami against the commentary table!

Now, Bron allows the referee to start the countout for Sami. Despite being exhausted, Zayn returns to the ring with the count at nine. Bron takes the fight to the top of the corner; Zayn reacts to take down Breakker with a Sunset Flip Bomb; the cover does not progress! Still, Bron stands up to take the advantage and takes down the challenger with a Belly-to-Belly Suplex. Zayn almost manages to surprise the champion with a Roll-Up, but only comes close. Sami hits a Helluva Kick in the center of the ring to avoid a Spear; Bron shakes off the cover with the count at two! Zayn climbs to the corner and launches himself into the air, but is intercepted with a Spear. BRON BREAKKER THwarts SAMI ZAYN’S REMATCH AND IS STILL INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION!
