Butterbean has claimed Jake Paul’s fight with Mike Tyson is simply a PR stunt.

Paul is set to step in the ring with heavyweight legend Tyson at the second time of asking on November 15, after his rival was forced to withdraw from their original July date.

Frequent concerns have been raised over whether the fight will even happen, given Tyson’s physical condition at the age of 58 and health issues.

Butterbean – real named Eric Esch – shares those fears, but has claimed Paul has never had any real interest in stepping in the ring with Tyson.

“Him and Tyson are never gonna fight,” he said during a Q&A.

“That has been a scam from the very beginning just to boost Jake’s name – and it has!

“This guy, everybody’s talking about him. But he’s never gonna fight Tyson.

“They were never planning on fighting each other, because a promoter would never let him fight anyone else in between a fight.

“Never – not that big of a fight. So, it’s been a scam from the beginning.”

It was a bizarre rant from Esch, who has himself called out Paul on multiple occasions since making a 200lbs remarkable weight transformation.

He has even set his eyes on fighting Tyson in the past, but most recently made a £1.5 million winner-takes-all offer to Paul.

Paul has not once responded to Esch’s call-outs and a fight with the other 58-year-old seems highly unlikely.

For now his clash with ‘Iron Mike’ is going ahead despite criticism, and it is set to be a huge event with significant financial gain for both fighters.

It is a professional contest, and Tyson is now back in training and has posted footage in an attempt to prove doubters wrong.

The influencer will likely be the favourite despite their experience gap, given Tyson hasn’t fought competitively since 2008.

Despite the boxing icon’s raw power, Paul believes he has what it takes to inflict a huge KO on the night.

“Mike Tyson, you’re next big boy, sign the contract, November 15 on Netflix. I’m excited for that one,” he said.

“It’s happening, November 15, Mike Tyson is training, he’s back, looking crazier than ever. I’m going to get another KO and prove everyone wrong once again.

” Everyone said I was an idiot for taking this fight, that I was risking it but this is why I’m here, I take big risks.

“Mike, I love you but this is my sport, you’re a legend, you’re one of the two most famous boxers ever to live, you and Muhammad Ali.

“It’s an honour to get in the ring with you. I’m so, so honoured; you’re a legend, but I’m going to take your throne, brother.”
